These things are wonderful. They sit around your neck and you totally forget you have them on. When you need them, you just pull the retractable cords out and pop the headphones in your ears. You can use one or both earphones for phone calls. I've been listening to music for hours and they don't hurt my ears at all.

I picked these up because my old headset died and I was looking for a pair that would both play decent quality stereo output and have clear mic audio for talking to clients (like many people now, I exclusively use a cell phone for communications). Because they are so unobtrusive, I can leave them on all day. They do not get tangled at all. When the headphones are in your ears, you don't even notice the wires.
Music audio quality is very good, even at lower volume levels, and the passive noise canceling blocks out most ambient noise. I've made a couple of phone calls, and so far people tell me they hear me fine.
I'm looking forward to trying these out at the gym. I just hope I don't forget they're on when I jump in the shower.
