WVC Knights Volleyball - Sophomore Night

These are photos from sophomore night for the 2021 women's volleyball team. Due to injuries, they were unable to field a team for their final match, but that didn't shop them from putting on a show for parents and friends.

Since this was their final time together as a group, I focused more on player interaction than the actual scrimmage.

About the Photographer - Russ Alman

I have had a passion for photography since I was a kid and aspired to become a sports photographer since I shot pictures for my high school yearbook in 1985.

While it's not realistic to make a living doing sports photography for local teams, as the co-owner of Digital Media Northwest, I have access to the equipment, so I can provide this service at very low event fee for local teams as a way to give back to the community. I have been the team photographer for the Wenatchee Wild for 5 years and also shoot the home games for all of Wenatchee Valley College Knights teams.
