Like the game the night before, the Wenatchee Wild came out swinging early against the Prince George Spruce Kings. And again, Prince George battled back to tie. But this night belonged to the Wild, with a 6-5 overtime victory.

You would have thought the Wenatchee Wild's 2-1 victory over the Penticton Vees was the 7th game of the Fred Page Cup from the reaction of the players and fans. It wasn't, but the taste was almost as sweet, being the first team to beat Penticton since the 2019 playoffs.
