Wild Defeat Merritt Centennials 6-2

Led by Cade Littler's hat trick, the Wenatchee Wild defeated the Merritt Centennials 6-2 in game two of the three-game home series. The game included the Wild's annual Teddy Bear toss to collect stuffed animals for local kids in need. It was also father-daughter night and I have a group picture of fathers and daughters, plus the annual season ticket holders group photo. Santa and Mrs. Claus also had a sitting in the lobby before the game.

I have had a passion for photography since I was a kid and aspired to become a sports photographer since I shot pictures for my high school yearbook in 1985.

While it's not realistic to make a living doing sports photography for local teams, as the co-owner of Digital Media Northwest, I have access to the equipment, so I can provide this service at very low event fee for local teams as a way to give back to the community. I have been the team photographer for the Wenatchee Wild for 5 years and also shoot the home games for all of Wenatchee Valley College Knights teams.
